Mystery Shopping!

Is a mystery shopping day!!! It's fun to pose as tourists!Anway, we cure our stomach before work. We dine @ this restaurant in little indian called Fifth Season with the tagline - chinese cuisine with a global touch. It is a quiet restaurant but the food are realli nice. However, the portions are rather small so we ordered quite a number of dishes.

Day 2 - Ties tt bind

The 2nd day into the induction program. We started off the day with the open top Vee bus aka a sight seeing bus for tourists.

Besides, the loads of speeches by the different directors, we were fed to the fullest. 2 breakfast breaks and 1 lunch break. Hee.. Yum~

Lots of changes has been made to Laborador Park. This includes that Villa Seafood Galleria where we had our induction. There is even a spa just beside the restuarant. The surroundings is serene and definitey a nice venue to relax after a stressful day @ work.

A bunch of us arranged to wear white or pastel dresses.. hee we look like attending an engagment ceremony...

Before we headed to the education centre and SVC, we were given a small tour to the secret tunnel used by the British. The tunnel is a bit eriee though.

Finalli, we ended off the day with dinner @ Village.

Day 2 - Ties tt bind

First time going to Raffles Town Club. Didnt realli gotten the chance to explore but the buffet lunch was great especially the salad section. And we had our good laugh discussing wat type of cakes we are like - pandan cakes...cheese cakes...kueh Lapis...strawberry cream cakes...mudpies.. and finalli a BIG piece of cake. Haha. come on guys u know who u are. ~Wink~

After tt we head to Sentosa. Yes.. Sentosa again.. Haha.. but i still luv the luge though!!! Stupid choon leng had to bump mi twice during the luge. Eh.. brother this is a luge not a bumper car ride. Beware of the skylift cos i was happily taking foto when suddenly it came to a halt. Erm.. it is the normal procedure but nevertheless i was freaked out and exclaiming and screaming a bit.

After sentosa, we headed off to the Pump Room @ Clarke Quay for Dinner. The Pump room is a place to chill out and they have live band performances that start after10pm. We didnt get a chance to listen to it cos everyone was so tired after the dinner. I especially luv the way they used glass to decorate the place. Yes.. it is buffet again. My god.. moi lunch haven even been digested yet. The bread pudding, wedges, fried fish and shepherd's pie are great!

Gathering with uni klassmates

It has been a long time we met as king was all the way in India for 6 whole weeks. Supposed to meet at 7pm and blurry king overslept la and mel was late as well. In the end, jie hua and mi waited for 1 whole hr for him. Bleahz.. Jie hua and mi was still afraid king might smell of coconut oil. Opps... Haha.. luckily king made up for it with a free dinner @ Asian Kitchen.

After tt intended to go to Timbre to chill out but the place was so croweded tt we had to wait 0.5 for a seat. So we headed to clarke Quay instead. Tt place was bloody croweded on wkends. Damn scary. With super high cravings for the cakes tt SL recommended @ a frech pastry shop - Nectare, i just led moi uni friends there. Haha. we were so so luckily to get a seat! Hmmm.. the drinks are a disappointment though. I ordered ice chocolate and it taste blant. The carrot juice is fine but come on, how wrong can the drink be when it is freshly squeezed??? The waffle was veri nice thicker den tt of gelare but crisp on the outside and soft inside. Veri nice fragrance coming from the waffles when i am sending them into moi mouth. Drool~ They got exotic flavours for ice - cream as well - bailey's, jack daniel's and lavender honey. The rum and raisin looks tempting also. Must definitely jio ivy jie jie (we both like rum) to try out. Okie, back to the cakes - Signature cake is strawberry shortcake. I give thumbs up for it but as for the Parfait with dark and white chocolate is again a disappointment. The chocolate is not tt fragrance and the taste is like jumbled up. I cant realli taste the distinguishment of the dark and white choco. bad...

Hee... Hooray going to meet moi Beloved 2i buddies!!! Intended to ate Dian Xiao Er but changed to Azabu Sabu instead as the desserts there are simply too tempting. One reason keeping me from going there is becos the last time i tried the main course it was so-so onli. But this time, the main course realli tasted better!!!Yummy~

This whole week has been awesome!!! Haha.. not to mention the KTV session with ivy jie jie on thurs. It was great!!! i cant wait to sing again!!!

Induction Program @STADA

Last fri @ a team building program @ STADA held at fort canning park. Hmmm ... i dun realli like this kinda program and i tink a lot of us as well. SO in the end, we entertain ourselves by taking fotos. Of course, it is fun! Well though the program has been more or less interesting, the great buffet breakfast, lunch and tea makes up for it!

Batam SPA Trip

WHoa... is great tt we can have a common off day tog and the MTs @ orchard pamper themselves by going on a SPA trip to batam. Horray.. have been looking so forward to it!!! Moi first SPA experience.

WINSPA!!!

Finalli reached the WINSPA! Chosen the traditional ginger spa which cost $25 onli!!! Cheap cheap cheap cheap cheap! The spa is done in an individual room. So i really luv the privacy. The spa starts with a massage of the whole body that lasted 1 hr. My god... The masseur look small built but her strength is like tt of a bull lo! Haha.. at certain times, i feel rather painful. But after the massage i realli feel relaxed. This is followed by a 15 mins sauna and a ginger scrub. The ginger scrub is realli realli exfoliating. I can feel the smoothness of moi skin is lidat of a baby skin after the scrub!

Had a nice bathe afterwards to clean away the dead skin and the masseur apply a nice moisturiser on the body. I realli feel pampered when i was given a hot ginger tea right after the bathe. Sweet yet with a spicy tinking taste. Had a cheap $9 pedicure after tt!!! Was so comfortable tt i doze off on the seat... heee

we are supposed to be sad...

Sentosa FAM trip!!!

Monday was the highly anticipated sentosa FAM trip. Hee... It was a veri nice trip and we went to so many places of attractions. Hee.. of course comlimentary from STB and sentosa leisure grp.

Family Gathering

After being 'poisoned' for 2 whole days, i have finalli recovered! Hee.. and on sat i headed to ah ma hse cos they wanna celebrate moi graduation with mi! hee... Initially decided to go out and makan one but in the end we ended up cooking ourselves. It was super super fun cos we went to the supermarket and buy the ingredients. Suddenly, i am into cooking these days. So, i helped in the kitchen the whole afternoon. Hee.. helped with everything - cutting vegetables, cooking the desert - red bean soup, frying the rice... I am super satisfied with moi cooking and dinner was great!!! Hee.. i tink cooking is moi new found hobby. After dinner, had a couple of shoots with moi family!

Finalli, found the time to go to take moi studio shoot with moi family. I chosen the studio called Clementi Li Ming. It was recommended by moi mum though and i didnt realli know how the shop looks like. Hee when we arrived there, i was quite satisfied as the shop looks pro.

Hee.. The most tiring thing in the world is realli to take studio shoots. I always though, take 1 photo onli mah, need almost 2 hrs meh?(including preparation)Hmmm... now i finalli understand. As there are more den 1 person taking the shoot, the photographer must make sure tt everyone looks good and in focused. In addition, to capture the best image, the photographer will give specific instruction for individual person to look in the direction tt makes them look best. So this took so so much time!!! My god.. was real exhausted after the shoot.

Zouk Alumni Party 2007

Hmmm.. the first time i went to zouk and we were requested to be there super early like enter before 730pm? My god, where got peeps club so early one. Haiz.. rules are rules... When we enter @ 730, the place is not crowded at all. SO we helped oursleves to the finger food. Hee.. i realised i luv fruit tarts a lot!!! Soon, the BIE peeps start to arrive and begin a whole night of activities.Real glad to know a couple of new friends also.

The music is real not moi style as they play more of retro music. I dun reali know how to dance to it. Haha.. But the BIE peeps realli sporty. We danced tog and truly is fun. The party with the "Odd" Music finalli ended at 1030 and we were anxiously waiting for phuture to open at 11pm.

Haha.. gotten real high in phuture! I adored the hip hop and RnB kinda music! Its damn shiok!!! Dance and drink, dance and drinks! Hee.. fun fun fun~ haiz.. a pity dawn has to leave early, if not it will be more fun! The whole grp left ard at 1 plus and headed for roti prata. ELvin is totally shagged. Luckily got peeps to bring him home.

Totally enjoyed moiself. hee.. guys when shall we go again?

Felicia's 2nd Birthday

Head down to moi cousin hse to celebrate her daughter birthday. Her baby ger is super cute. She is quiet initially. But after talking and trying to play with her, she slowly talk to mi and play with mi! Hee so happy! I just luv kids!!! Their laughter and smiles are just so adorable. Suddenly i feel so old.. hee cos i am now an Ah Yi le. So not used to it.

I specially bought down moi gown to take fotos with moi relatives! Hee i rather close with them cos i stay in their hse since young till i was sec 2. So can imagine the bonds we shared! I am glad to be able to share moi happines of graduation with them too!

2i Buddies Gathering

The grp of friends tt i realli realli luv meeting up with. Heee.. lotsa crap lotsa stupid jokes.. is a miracle how we can click with each other even though we migh not have seen each other for some time. There is never any awkward silence. Hee.. ghim is back from his exchange in HK and 1 full month travel in CHina. He bought us this cute mini version of a turn turn thingy from Xi Zhang. Hmmm is an inst used by the tibetan monks when they prayed. Finalli Bay Street 21 is reopened again!!! The food is as in the past - NICE! i highly recommend it as it is value for money and yummy. Had a nice la kopi session in McDonald after dinner. Hee... thanks zhibin shu shu for sending us home. Xie Xie ni.

Sze Teng Farewell Dinner

Dear sze teng is leaving for china soon to tend to her family business. haiz..it will be a long time i see this babe again. So we had a gathering @ new york new york. Haiz.. i wonder how come it is always so crowded. We had to wait a long long time before we gotten our turn. I was so famished tt even after makaning moi Jiggy Piggy porkchops, i am still hungry! Hmmm the pork chops there not as nice lei. I still prefer the one at cafe cartel.

Of course, there's still room for dessert! But a pity some of them had to leave first as it is getting late. Haha.. but is moi off day the next day! Haahaa... i had a nice waffle with bananas and choco ice cream @ Gelare. Yummy.. is damn nice.. i certainly cannot miss out the half priced waffles on every tuesday. Haahaa..

STB MTs KTV session and Night Safari (orchard)

Had a morning training in HQ. After tt, we had a whole free afternoon before we head to night safari for our FAM trip. So to kill of time, we head down to Party World @ Orchard. It was a great session as everyone of us are not the shy shy type tt will turn away from the mics. Hee.. had a lot of fun singing and talking abt stupid jokes! It was super super fun! Realli enjoyed it to the max. Haiz.. it will be some time before we can meet up for such activities le as we are all on shifts.

I have never been to the night safari and i am definitely looking forward to tis trip. Felt like a VIP once again as they reserved seats for us in the animal shows. Haha.. the animal show is interesting with the added plots. Of course, i wont tell u wat they are.

Night safari, a 40Ha of land with onli 10% modified so it is realli the most natural rainforest in SIngapore. In addition, they showcases the animals in their most natural habitats. The tram ride in night safari is a must. With informative commentaries, i came to understand more abt the living habits of the animals. It is definitely a pleasure to have such close encounter with the animals. The animals are so close tt when u stretch ur hand, u can touch the animals! Cool isnt it! But of course, the man-eaters like lions are still separated by a river. My personal fav is the largest rodents in the world - cute and realli big. Haha.. their size is like tt of a dog. There last part of the tram ride is thru a quiet and silent area of the rainforest. I realli enjoy the breeze while listening to the calls of mother nature.

Dinner was @ the Ulu Ulu Safari restaurant. Hmmm.. food here is pretty expensive. The cheapeast for a meal is Laksa which costs $12 per bowl. So we shared fried rice and chilli crab. The indian cuisine there is so so yummy. But erm... it cost $18!

After dinner, felt so tired but we still embark on the walking trails. I even knocked onto xiaobai and bf. hee so qiao... was close to 12 when we left and we treat angela to Ben & Jerry ice cream for her bday! Happie Birthday!!! Heee... gosh i am so so tired!

SaDness

The time has finalli come for moi 2 dear and close friends to leave and embark on their next journey in a foreign land. Although i shld feel happie for them as they are given this excellent opportunity to work overseas, the selfish part of mi wish tt they can stay in singapore. Haiz...

Anyway, is yanqi's birthday on sat. SO i bought a cake and we had a small belated mini birthday celebration at the airport at 1am in changi airport! haha. Qiming's flight departs onli at 7am so we stayed in terminal 1 and talked cock in delifrance. Its realli nice to chat with each other and talk abt gossips, stupid jokes to try to keep each of us awake. As we immersed ourselves in the laughter we shared, the time of departing slowly creeps.

I realli feel like a superwoman. COs after sending qiming off, a few of us had breakfast @ burger king i am off to work till 630pm. I knew i will be so shagged and i realli was. During work, i was so so tired and many a times, i feel like dozing off. Even coffee dun realli works! Bleahz... tired.. tired...

After work, i need to rush off to the airport again to fetch moi another buddy- yingyi off. Haiz.. how come all of them are leaving mi! YY had already arrived at the airport when zhiyun and mi arrived. Haha.. YY was so nice to treat us dinner @BK cos she gotten her super super 'thick' pay. After tt, we shop a bit in the terminal 2 and bought cute cute stuff from mini toons! hee

At 10pm, time has come for YY to leave. It's the 2nd time i am sending her off le. The last time was to sweden and now to europe! Now even worse, she will be gone for 18 mths! My gosh. I hope i can save enu to fly over next yr with zhiyun to visit her. Hee... but considering how i spend, it will be hard. With her gone, there will be no one for mi and zhiyun to bully le. Haiz.. sob sob.. now outings will be lonely without her...Goodbye kisses and tears shed. Ying yi take care of urself and miss ya!
