The new album of fish leong is as expected veri nice and i couldn't resist but buy it. She continues her own style as being the 情歌天后, with emotional luv songs tt makes you cry and feel like falling in luv. Heee... I dunno how to choose the songs i prefer becos every song is so nice. I have never hear fish sing in cantonese b4 and i have onli praises after hearing the song.

PS: I am sick again... i knew moi sorethroat is quite bad as i am unable to sing and hit the high note...hope i recover soon...dunno how many times in the last few mths le.... *BLEAHZ*

Farewell for zhiqiang and jerry

Friends leaving one after another. This time, is a farewell for zhiqiang and jerry who are both gg to US for 6 mths training. We settled for N.Y.D.C after a whole 45 minutes of waiting. What to do... it's a friday.

Friday nite @ chinatown

Whoa... has been a long time i've been out with moi fellow babes from STB! On this friday, the exercusion is to Chinatown. Being the most familiarised with the place, i was appointed the guide for the day! Haha... dun worry i didnt carry ani flag nor loud speaker with mi. The trip started off with a sumptuous dinner @ the hawker centre. Carrot cake is fantastic! Even shu en who doesnt eat carrot cake gave thumbs up after tasting it!

After dinner, we started the shoppin trip. Introduced them to the cheap cheap shampoo shop and there were thrilled with how much cheaper the prices are. Haha... of course they did purchase some redken shampoo and conditioner. However, i am too lazy to drag the heavy stuff home. Well, i can always ask mushroom to do it for mi. ~poor mushroom~ Shu en and sihui couldnt get their hands off the quirky and vintage accessories at a shop meiyan recommended. They are realli in a shopping mood! After tt, choon yen went off to meet her ah boi for a midnight movie leaving the 2 gers with busy bfs and the single off to dessert at food street.

As usual, when i am bored and feeling sianz on a friday afternoon, the 2 mischievious babes - meiyan and shu en never fail to cheer mi up. They kidnapped moi tor tor hp stand again!!!! Tis time, they put moi tor tor in the freezer lo! Bleahz... Poor tor tor...

Sheila's Bday

Sheila is one of the few indians i know who likes dou sar pia. Haha.. and when did u ever get to see peeps use them as birthday cakes? Or i shld say pias... The pias is from the famous stall called long fatt in balestir. After trying it, i definitely agree it is special and tasty. I would luv to go there and buy some more but for someone who is still trying to control the steering wheel, balestir is a bit out of the way for mi. hee.. maybe some kind souls who drive can help mi buy... Okie.. i admit i am a glutton!

The concert starts at 8pm but we were told to be seated by 730pm. The guai guai us reached promptly and the indoor stadium is still so empty. Bleahz... but we were so happie becos we are veri veri close to the stage!!!

Family Day

Mushroom keeps complaining tt xiaobai and mi have not been gg home for dinner and have not been accompanying her out to gai gai. So to cheer her up, we met for a dinner @ wanzhai (IMM) since xiaobai is getting a new fone as well. Blurry and big sotong lost her fone (or moi fone since she is using mine) last wk. Of course, she kanna a big scolding from the whole family.

Tried out new dishes @ wanzhai. The stewed beef doesnt realli fascinate mi as i feel it taste the same as the beef noodles in JP foodcourt. The fried spare ribs topped with orange sauce is interesting though. The sourish of the sauce makes the dish less heavy although i still can feel the oil rolling down moi stomach. Personal fav is still steamed rice with chicken and sausage. It is healthier compared to the rest of the dishes and the chicken is realli tender.

DeepaRaya

This is the first time i heard of tis term - DeepaRaya. Anyway, it is a combined celebration of the 2 ethnic festivals - Deepavali and Hari Raya. Back in the office, there is a free lunch for all with malay dishes like beef redang, ah char, biryani. A few of us helped out in a fashion show, a sub event of the celebration. In this fashion show, we are showcasing the traditional and ethnic costumes of the Malays, Peranakans and Indians. That’s right, we are wearing saris and bajus.

Steamboat @ Sze Teng hse

Sze Teng is stationed in Xiamen to help out in her family business the past few mths. She onli comes back to Singapore once every 2 wks. Of course, when she is back, a meet up is a must! hee... and sze teng is veri kind to invite us to her house for a steamboat. She marinated the pork and chicken with unique sauces like char siew and red wine! Yummy... the red wine marinated meat taste good and the prawns are so big. Each prawn is as thick as moi finger.



After dinner, we had a little chill out @ grapevine. Grapevine is a cosy, small pub cafe tt sells main course, finger food, wine, cocktail, beer and other beverages. The drinks is cheap! The mango smoothie tt i ordered cost onli $3.90 and the smoothie is so thick tt we suspect they just blend a fresh mango! Yesh.. is veri veri fragrant and nice....

It's Friday!

Finalli after a wk of work.... the wkends have finalli arrived! I am in veri high spirits on friday as i am gg to cut moi hair! My fringe is covering moi eyes and i always had to clip them up to look tidier and my hair has grown so long tt the ends are obviousl not rcving enu nutrients from the scalp. And... i totally luv moi new hair! Looks so much neater and i feel lighter!

Met Zhiyun for dinner @ Azabu Sabu. Poor zhiyun sprained her ankle and her condition aggravated after her metal concert in Fort Canning. Zhiyun is a hardcore black metal fan although she always give peeps the impression tt she is a demure ger. Bleahz... Azabu Sabu is as usual tasty. The desserts there realli kicks off a great start to a fantastic wkend.
