Christmas Countdown at Dbl O

Surprisingly, Dbl O was not crowded even on christmas eve. A crazy night of drinking shots, dancing and partying! I shall let the pictures show the fun!

Long time since the 5 of us met! Haha.. it hasnt been easy to coordinate a timing for all of us. Thanks sihui jie jie. Ivy has been craving for Azabu Sabu. So we headed there. However, is realli hard to control moi ice- cream cravings. The desserts just looks too tempting! And all i could do is look at them and drool... Hmph....









Sihui jie jie is considerate and thoughtful to the extreme that it is funny. She went to phuket some time ago with her bf. So she bought some goodies for us. However, she was in a rush to come out of the house so she has no time to pack the goodies for each and individual of us. Guess wat she did? She bought those plastic disposable containers along and wanted us to da bao on the spot! Haha... we couldn't help but laugh and laugh. Of course, poor sihui is pouting!



EE Christmas Party @ Regina's House

Besides Regina and Louis, their comfy house is also the home for their 3 fat cats - Ah Boom, Ben & Jerry (aka the ice- cream bros). Other den Jerry who is too shy and keeps hiding under the bed, the other 2 cats are rather active! They are so cute and it is fun playing with them!!!

Of course, we have the christmas exchange! There is punishment for the worst wrapped present and worst present. Mark who is supposed to buy a present for mi and whom didnt get it in time kanna the worst present. The punishment is to drink stout with soy sauce and teriyaki sauce! Yucks.

ZoukOut 2007

I had a great partying night with moi colleagues in ZoukOut 2007 held in Sentosa on Saturday!!! STB had a little tent in ZoukOut which we used to entertain our stakeholders. The best thing is that we had free flow of drinks from 8pm to 10pm! Haha.. but we arrived onli @ 9plus after dinner and shopping @ vivocity.

Sadly, the rest of the MTs didnt join in the fun except for sihui babe! She is helping out at the booth. But poor sihui suddenly had migraine and headed home. Haiz.. so in the end, i didnt get to party with her. Luckily, we did manage to take some fotos!

There were around 4 tents in ZoukOut with DJ playin different sorts of music like - Trance, hip-hop, mambo.... The partying mood is in the air and u just feel like moving your body, shaking ur bom bom and dance the night away.

RedBull had a special performance where a parachutist landed on siloso beach @ 12midnight!!! It is realli exciting to see the live action of the parachutist. Cheers, screams and applauses deaf moi ear the moment the parachutist landed. He definitely deserves it!

Standard Chartered Marathon 2007

It seems like yesterday when ivy jie jie and mi were anxiously and eagerly waiting for the race to commence. The excitedness in mi had decreased a little, given the fact that I was trying to contain moi cough. Nevertheless, I hoped to finish this half marathon by hook or by crook. (My feelings at the start line) The long and strenuous journey started promptly at 630am. Joggers including mi stretch out and take on their first stride of the 21km run.

0 – 5km – Proceeding normally
6km – Starting to lose sight of ivy jie jie
8km – The super irritating mucus kept rolling down moi nose. I looked to moi left and saw the medic team. “Maybe, I shld just walk over and say tt I am sick which earns mi a free ride back to the finish line, by an ambulance of course!”
9km-12km – Managed to gotten rid of the evil twin inside mi
13km – Commencement of Walkathon
14km -17km – The never ending Nicoll Highway
18km – 20km – Finish Line is so near yet so far
21km – Finalli made it back without a scratch

Overall, the half marathon tis yr was better!!! Haha… becos both ivy jie jie and mi improved our timings! My timing is not fantastic la, but i tried moi best! hee...

Of the 7394 who finished, 30% were female and 70% were male.
For the record, i am ahead of about 38% of male finishers.



Till now, i still dunno wat does division means. Maybe is females in the same age grp as mi?

Post Bday Celebration for Xiaobai

After ruling out Azabu Sabu becos I was too lazy to go town, Ajisen Ramen as mushroom feels there is not much variety, we decided to have the celebration at Café Cartel, IMM. Xiaobai and I are usually busy with our own activities tt we seldom eat out as a family. Hence, mushroom is very happy yesterday. The meal is super filling to the extent tt mushroom and papa says tt the sight of prok ribs scares them now!

1. Study hard - She always blame the difficult papers, teacher, poor memory, mental block… blah blah blah when she fails exam
2. Punctuality - She never fails to make mi wait
3. Cleanliness - Her room looks like a pig sty now.
4. Sleep early - Becos I cannot sleep with the glaring lights on
5. Stop hard sniffing the poor mimi whose nose is getting blacker by the day
6. Be less irritating and asking mi stupid questions.
7. Save More - Although I luv to leech on her purchases.
8. Talk less on the phone - She is like a call operator of the house 24/7

Shu En's Bday!!!

It's the mischievious ger - shu en babe birthday! On this special day, a naughty plan was in lined for the birthday ger. The venue of the celebration is a mystery was shu en was supposed to get using clues given to her along the way.

Blu Jaz Cafe



When shu en arrived, all of us were already seated anxiously awaiting her arrival. Poor shu en as she had to walk all the distance carrying sihui's lappie. Nvm rite~ i bet u had a surprise!



The atmosphere of Blu Jaz Cafe was rather good especially with the live music which starts at 930pm. Even though we were seated outside, it was rather cooling. The onli exception was tt we had the constant fear of a big rain as the sky looked threatening. Food and drinks are reasonably priced. Moi chicken chop is tender except that it is too greasy. The potato wedges are fantastic! Yummy...Definitely a nice place to chill out but the place is understaffed. I will recommend a reservation as the place seems to be a favourite.
