Bday Celebration with Zhiyun

The lonely duo met again to celebrate moi bday. We ate at the Cyrstal Jade at Bugis Junction. As a fan of the 酸辣汤拉面, i would say tt the serving at this particular outlet was disappointing. Firstly, the sauce was too little for the humongous portion of noodles. Secondly, the sauce is not savoury enu. Haiz... luckily, the 手拉饼 made up for it. Not forgetting the rich and creamy strawberry pudding which at least make mi end our meals with a smile.

On the special day, i took a day off to spend time doing my fav activites with my fav peeps. It has been a long time since i last swimming. I am so looking forward to it! The sianz thing is tt it was raining after we changed and so the water was rather cold. Ivy said "if it was not ur bday, i would have get up and leave!" haha... too bad... ivy was stuck in the pool with mi.

After swimming, i brought ivy to moi fav porridge place at the 24hr coffee shop near NTU. Yummy... The porridge was not satisfying enu and so we went to IMM - 湾仔 for afternoon tea. The yam cream sago was very very nice!!! Highly recommended.

While shopping in mini toons at IMM, ivy and kel shared to buy mi a super super nice bday present - 超级无敌大龟龟！I love it lots!!! Thanks!!!

Naomi's tea party

On a bright sunday afternoon, a group of us arranged to have a tea party @ regina's mama house. Everyone of us will bring a slice of cake or pastry and we will enjoy tea while visiting naomi.



It's been a long time sinc we saw naomi and she has grown a lot!!! She has beautiful natural grey eyes which all of us are envy of. Definitely when she grow up, she will be a chio bu!

As naomi is so cute, all of us wan to hold her. From here, we can know who are the potential mothers. Haha... Eileen is so good with naomi tt she fell soundly asleep in her arms. I am not veri bad also! Hee... naomi didnt cry... Felicia on the other hand has a phobia with babies. It took us a long time before she was persuaded to hold naomi. She was a bit terrified of hurting naomi when she was in her arms. At the end of the day, Felicia still prefers holding a bottle of baileys. Haha..

For naomi to grow so fast, she must be very well fed. Be amazed by the stock of breast milk. Mama reg even had to buy an extra freezer to store her milk!!! She shared tt food you eat will affect the taste of the milk. Haha.. so once she drank so much fish soup tt the milk taste fishy.Hee...

Bday celebration with 2i buddies



Dinner was at shokudo, a marche like concept restaurant at the basement of Raffles Place Shopping Centre but selling Japanese food. The variety of the food there was great - teppanyaki, pasta, hotpot, omelette... However, the portion seemed to be a bit "stingy" f0r the price we are paying.

Moi Recommendations:
Sashimi - thick and plentiful

Omelette - a bit salty but yummy nevertheless and the guy making the omelette is cute! Haha..

Reminiscence of the past - Ice Skating

My NTU friends are damn onz! I had this crave to ice skate a couple of weeks ago. Since moi bday is round the corner, they decided to make moi little wish come true. 谢谢哥哥！So moi bday celebration ended up at the Ice Skating Ring at Kallang Leisure Park.

It has been a long time since i last skate, which i tink was in Sec 2! Haha.. Of course, moi ice skating skills are rusty liao but luckily i still manage to go in rounds the ring without falling. While most of us skate before and king is rather good at it, choon leng "sacrifice" his first time for us!

After 2 hours of ice- skating, our legs are damn tired and painful!!! Help...Despite the pain, the session reminds me of the fun and crazy year in sec 2 where we are rather into ice skating, listening to "Barbie Ger" and skating faster and faster in the ring. Well... time flies..

Bday Celebration with MTs

Using our benefits, we organised another outing to KTV after our training at Sentosa. With the recommendation from chester, we went to a ktv called TopOne. The KTV is situated opposite Bugis Junction, the old icon building. Comments and feedback left in forums are mixed of good and bad. Hmmm... so we went there not knowing wat awaits us.

After looking at the above pictures, you can know that we made a right choice. The room is super big and can accomodate 21 of us not including the space in front and a stage at the side. The room has three 37' LCD tv. In addition, we can meddle with the light effects in the room like - disco and soothing. Also, we can have smoke!!! Hahah... Drinks are free flow but tidbits are non- refillable. For the facilities, the price of $28.70 per pax (eve of PH) is rather worthwhile.

For the Queen of chiongster, Zouk is the no doubt the most approporiate place to celebrate her bday! We kick off the celebration with a ceremonial cake cutting @ winebar. Of course, how can we miss out the appetiser - barcadi for all!

Inside zouk, we had a cosy corner to ourselves. When causally asked for my brith date, i innocently replied. Definitely, it was a mistake. The consequence was simple - more drinks! So, i had moi first flaming lamborgini. An interesting drink with flames on top. The taste was great cos it was sweet. Hee... However, after the drink, i can feel moi body warmed.

Early Ah Yi and moi bday celebration

Yi Yi and i always celebrate our bday tog becos the dates are onli separated by 6 days. Of course, i shall keep the number of years apart a secret. This yr we had a change of cuisine, from chinese to western. My family are no fans of steak and fries. However, an occassional switch of taste once in a while can bring about unknown surprises. Yeah. Indeed, they love the food served at Hog's Breathe, Chijmes.

We ordered a lot of food as moi family members are big eaters. Hee...We had atlantic salmon, chicken wrap, steak, prime ribs with prawns, 2 servings of calamari and not forgetting a full slab of baby ribs. If you tink the ribs at Cafe Cartel are marvellous, then definitely the ribs here are heavenly. A knife is not really needed as the meat is so tender that it just tear away with a fork.

Sihui's Bday Belated Celebration

We were 1 wk late for sihui's celebration. Nevertheless, a few of us managed to meet up. It seems that peeps are getting busy nowadays and is super hard to get many peeps tog these days. Aniwae, celebration was at Azabu Sabu @ Central. That day, moi attire totally clashed with ivy jie jie. Haha... she thought i was gg to be in dress and i thought she was gg to be in jeans and tee. So in the end... we end up like the opposite.

Out of the Pan

It was one of those impromptu meeting with dear zhiyun. Ya, with yy leaving us few weeks back, we are back to the "couple" stage where onli 2 of us meet. Of course, is less funny and laughter without YY around.

This was the first time i tried the crepes at Out of the Pan located at the basement of Raffles City Shopping Centre. It was highly recommended by zhiyun and she kept telling me how nice it was. So in the end, i decided to gave it a try and i abandoned the idea of trying out the new japanese restaurant located in a wulu corner of city link. (Ps: zhiyun was informed tt is not nice) Sorry for the digression. The crepes are truly yummy - hot, fragant and ingredients complement each other. The sweet waffle dessert definitely makes mi come back for more! hee...

I was honoured to pass thru the audition and be 1 of the 4 representees of STB. For the first time, i got to do a studio recording. Haha.. FYI, we are singing a song titled "The Milky Way". Nope, the song is not by Michael Jackson.

Last monday, the STBians had a free ride on board the new attraction of Singapore - The Flyer! Currently, it holds the guinness record of the largest ferris wheel in the world. Sadly, this record is gonna be beaten soon. Anyway, i was so looking forward to the ride though last time when i board the wheel at taipei, i realised i had a phobia of heights.

Though i was rotated to another dept, i still get to go for the ride tog with all the dearies in EE!

Last day at EE

Due to the 2 weeks of late nights spent in the office, i realli didnt have time to prepare little gifts for all the dearies in EE. So during the wkend, i have a great shopping time for little pressies. I bought these super nice red colour frames in Daiso and printed our dept fotos. Of course, how can i miss out buying snacks for the "Eat and Eat" dept! Definitely, for mark, ah lip and iris who have been treating me endless coffees, is time to return with a starbucks coffee!

Press Conference @ IndoChine

After mths of preparations and 2 weeks of late nights/early mornings, the press conference was a blast! The whole experience of been able to organise a press conference has been one of the most rewarding experience i ever had. The successful of the press conference also marks the end of moi attachment at the Events and Entertaninment Cluster.

Cuili Belated Birthday and BJ Farewell.

Cuili's birthday celebration was long overdue. But still, we didnt forget you wor! Celebration was at Waraku @ Cuppage. Yanfu was back in China during CNY and it was no secret that he went to 相亲. Of course, we took this excellent opportunity to grill and bombard him with tons of questions! Haha... of course with the endless shooting of questions, yanfu was shoutin "救命啊!"
