WorkPlan Conference

It was the annual workplan conference on monday. This time, it was held @ the Rock at Suntec. To liven the conference, a grp of us put up 2 singing performances. I hope our show did provide some entertainment to the crowd. To keep the F1 Grandprix spirit high and up, we dress up as F1 racers for the 1st performance. However, the tracksuit seems so big tt it is hanging on mi. Nope, i didnt lose weigh just tt the suit is big.

QueenFel's Bday & ZouK Anniversary
(The Great Tee Party)

On sat, it was the bday celebration for nightspot princess - fel. Of course, the celebration is none other than Zouk. Coincidentally, tt day happens to be Zouk's 17th Anniversay. The theme of the night was "the great tee party". However, it seems tt not many peeps adhere to the theme wor. Haha... but i did and i am loving moi new hat!!!





I jioed ivy jie jie and kel along. We were supposed to meet super early at 845pm cos we manage to get the invites and it was stated we need to be in before 9pm. When we reached, there were not a soul at sight. Felt so cheated when the usher dont let us in as they says tt Zouk is not ready yet and will admit onli at 10pm! Boo... so we just hang ard...

Dennis 飞了！

Yup... another friend of mine is gg overseas. Dennis is the first person i know tt is gg to Israel. While most peeps would rather choose the state of the tech USA or the quiet Europe for further studies, Dennis's choice is indeed exotic. He will be gone for almost a yr to do his research and of course, this is part of his Phd! Haha.. yeah... a to be Dr Wang. Of course, to be Dr Goh is veri sad tt her beloved is leaving. But dun worry, you always have us!

After sending dennis off, the BIE peeps went to Bedok 85 to eat the famous 肉搓面. The stall realli leaves up to its name of being famous cos we had to wait one whole hour before the small pathetic portion but super yummy bowl of noodles arrived! While others left for home ard 10plus, i went to meet ivy jie jie and kel. Haiz.. no movie luck for us. Instead, we ended up at the TCC @ clarke quay chilling the night away.

Ps: Dun be alarmed at moi shagged face taken @ 2am.

Onitsuka Tiger Electric Night 2008

TGIF! The fan of Onitsuka aka mei yan jio mi to go Zouk for the launch of their new season. Before tt, a few of us went to Great World City for dinner. It took us a long time before we decide on where for desserts. In th end, we settle for a restuarant called "cheesecake" or sound alike. As the name suggests, the restaurant is famous for their cheese cake. We ordered oreo cheese cake which i feel is not tt fantastic. The mango crepe with custard and coconut ice-cream did leave an impression.

While the rest rushed off for Cassandra's dream, meiyan and i slowly made our way to Zouk. It was so crowded at the entrance and we are admitted onli at 10pm. wait... wait... wait...

We chopped a good venue that overlooks the stage. There were fringe activities going on like - teaching you the fastest way to fold a tee, display of entries for the onitsuka tee design competition, challenge urself to sudoku and a free souvenir counter. Well.. i tink waiting is inevitable. However, i realli feel like cursing and swearing when the show started onli at 11pm!!!

Last wkend - Meiyan's and Yock Sian Bday

Alright, i know this post is outdated and shu en has been complaining. Before i became blacklisted as "li ling doesnt update her blog" on yock sian's blog, i better do something. So here it goes....

It was meiyan and yock sian bday! So on friday night, we head off to minds cafe near PS. The set dinner there was pretty yummy and valued for money - $16.90 inclusive of 2 hrs of gaming, appetiser, main course, drink and dessert.

Yeah! We were uber happy!

We were spilt into 2 teams with 1 bday ger each. The bday ger from the losing had to perform a forfeit designed by the evil winning team. Despite putting up a fierce fight, we still lost and poor meiyan....
