Singapore River Festival

The first phase of the "baby"
i was working on last time was completed!
As part of the calendar of events for F1,
the Singapore River Festival was borned.
A festival full of parties and events by the Singapore River,
complemented with beautiful lightings.

We decided Terminal was not realli the place
and hence we are off to ZOUK!

i was so so so tired...

Sihui's Bday @ KM8

For a change
we decided to bring the celebration out of the noisy mainland Singapore
and off to KM8, all the way on Sentosa





Food was typical
pizzas, sphag and fried calamari
the fried mushroom was amazingly yummy and juicy!
We prepared for the ceremonial cake cutting!



and eat it the not so conventional way
or i shld say the barbaric way?
via forks onli!
Of course,
how can we missed out playing on the beach

experimenting with jump shots!





Soon, everyone was tired
and time to make a move
however,
our creative director (mei yan)
didnt let us off lightly and requested for us to be models
haahaa






The celebration continued
in the office
as we present the bday ger
with her pressie
a pampering hamper
Happy Birthday babe!

1 Day introductory horse riding course

Yeah!!!
i went horse riding again!
tis time with a bunch of STB peeps

bringing the horses for a walk
isnt realli a walk
as they were just stuck @ eating the grass

and of course the riding lesson
i was less scared
though getting up the horse was still a chore
tried to ride the horse with 1
and ltr without hands
haahaa
FUN!!!


After riding the horses
the are tired and sweaty too!
so it's time to give them a shower
Ps: unlike humans, they dun realli enjoy it



Everyone was famished by noon
Food food food!!!


We gave the horses ample time to rest
so took the opportunity to roam round the sch


Now is time to bring the horses for some free time
Look how they are enjoying it!

and we gotten a lesson on stable management
meaning cleaning their "home"
and preparing food for them


Tired but totally enjoyable!

~Concert Fever~


Misia - Asia World Tour Discotheque
Tink abt a mth ago
i attended
Misia's concert
the first jap artistie to hold a concert in Singapore
if case u are wondering who she is
she is the singer that sang
"EVERYTHING"
okie....
maybe it doesnt realli help

if case u are wondering how come there were so few photos
it was becos photography was banned during the concert
and the security was rather tight
Was having a bad feeling abt the concert
before it began
as i was sitting on plastic chairs in EXPO
I WAS PROVEN WRONG!!!

As the concert began
the crowd began to stand up, dance and cheer
the most spontaneous audience i ever encountered!!!
adding to that
Misia's vocal was one i can die for
super powerful, emotional and high!!!
one word
~AWESOME~

Elva 三面夏娃音乐会


a concert tt ivy suddenly jio mi and bubu to go
initally i thought it was a full blown concert
upon reaching,
i realised is just a mini concert
and the sad thing was tt we were sitting rather far behind

Elva was very slim and pretty
can sing and can dance!
lurve her voice




Adjourned to ECP for supper
the porridge bubu ordered was yummy

~F1 Fever~

The big event that kept the
board, agenices and frantically peeps in the hospitality industry
busy for the past mths
had finalli arrived!

Helping out in the F1
i had a chance to experience the race
from
the hotel room
the bay grandstand
& beloved old supreme court (we were stationed there)
Day 1

Working in the afternoon

food was catered for us which hwee fong commented looks like ration food!
but caught some pre- races


St. Andrew's Cathedral is lovely
Evening time
we rushed to the Bay grandstand aka floating platform
thru Gate 7




crossing the temp overhead bridge

we were running late
and the worse thing that can happen is that
we were on the WRONG side of the track!!!
T_T
it doesnt help that the loud
Vroom...vroom..vroom....
from the engines
made us more anxious and excited

crossing bridge again to the correct side
Finalli, we reached!










The track looks awesome on screen!
Super Proud!!!
however, the race got boring after a while
as all i could see was
cars after cars flying past
& slowing down near the bend

After wat seemed ages,
Slam, emm,fel, mark and Kevin finalli arrived!
and off to dance floor

despite the damn gross wet and muddy floor
Guess wat?
We found $50!

On night shift
and managed to caught some race again
viewing it from another angle


Day 3 - THE RACE!

Had a good night sleep in the hotel
Worked again in the afternoon
and finalli
we are off DUTY!

With much anticipation
from the audience of the room
the race started!!!

It was the longest race ever
and so glad it ended with a blast!

We went on a walking tour round the track!

Day 4 - Post F1

It was a wise choice to sleep in the hotel
yup, away from home for the 2nd day

A nice rewarding lunch

Clear up work stuff
and we took a lil' ride
on the track
in Ocean aka 小青

All over!
Tough, stressful and tiring...
however,
it was all worth it!
