Early Christmas Party

Sze teng invited us over to her hse for an early christmas party. She is a realli good host, stuffing us with christmas goodies like sphag.. ham.. beef.. and a super big turkey! Haha... even so manmy of us cannot finish it.

After dinner was playing a game which they say is veri hot in the variety shows now. It is similar to bluff but we uses dice. The forfeit was drinking beer.I very evil cos i keep "hai" ren. Opps at the end of the game, all of them sabo mi!!! Haha...Sze teng gave 1 of us a santa clasus cap... After wearing it was so into the christmas mood!

Of course, christmas is a day for presents exchange!!!



Later dear sze teng make fondue for us! The look of it makes mi drool. But the choco is a bit dry but putting magarine does the trick. Of all the fruits, bananas still taste the best!!!

2 Star Kayaking Course

After after so long....... i finalli find the time to get moi 2 star kayaking course! On the 1st day was rather unwilling to go cos it is freaking far at changi and i live in yew tee which means i need to wake up ard 6 plus! This is a totally insane time to wake up! Haha okie. i admit tt i am a pig!

The first day of kayaking realli is tiring for mi. I dunno why but i just cant get up on the boat after capsize. So i kept trying and trying till i thought i neva make it back to the shore! tt why tis phobia makes mi dread gg to the 2nd day kayaking course.

However the 2nd day of the kayaking day course was super fun!!! Hee cos we are gg on a expedition! i luv kayaking in the open sea! So carefree! Hee but when we are crossing the channel the tempermental weather suddenly storms. It was scary as moi vision is blur and for a moment i thought moi contact lenses are dropping out! Argh i finalli made it back to shore. The afternoon of the course was doing the eskimo bow. I think i do it so many times tt i thought i was doing a capsize course. haha. but i overcome the fear of capsizing. Capsize... capsize lo! haha

The last day of the course concentrated on strokes and which are rather hard to master. At least not in a few hours. I finalli survived the 3 day cours and got moi 2 star kayaking course cert!!! So happy!!! Hee. sad thing is i forget to bring camera. so no fotos taken!





New Year shopping!

Spend the new year with sihui with shopping and i bought fake eye lashes!!! Hee i tink they look nice cos the lash is evenly spread and even after a long time it wont smudge! Best of all, it makes moi eye look bigger! Sticking on is okie but needs to constanly check it in case it comes off. SO i bring out the glue for emergency purpose! Haha.. i tink i am becoming a "PLASTIC"

Jerry's Bday




Hee... tis is a surprise bday party for jerry organised by his gf.. SO sweet hor.. Jerry and his family keeps bbqing for us. Hee we didnt do much. Our main responsibility there is to eat and eat hee... Of course, cannot miss jerry's legendary BBQ wings! I dunno how he does them but it is veri nice. Nice tender and best thing of all not burnt. Hee The durian cake from angie choice is yummy!

Yum Yum...Ate Aijisen for the first time. Tink i am a super mountain tortoise. Hee the side dishes are marvellous - the california maki and the fried tofu. The ramen soup is thick and i can realli taste the ingredients all blended into the soup. And the noodles so Qq...can bounce... pon... pon... Now thinking of it makes mi drool...................

California Fitness

Sihui jio mi and jie er for a 2 wk trial in california fitness. So even when it is raining, we went to the outlet @ raffles to see see. The place is super big and it is three storeys. The amount of equipment is beyond words and the best thing is tt it is unlimited time usage!!! They provide free shampoo,foam and towel so reduce the hassale of bringing too many barang barang there.

The best part about california fitness is their steam bath! So shiok after ur gym u go in. So refresh cos i can feel moi pores open! Satisfaction feeling times times times...

But the people there like to give people stress... scary.. but on the whole is realli nice experience. If i have the money, hee i will surely join!

Yesterday was the annual Ah Ma bash. Haha.. it sounds funny right. Actualli it is a name given by mi and ivy for sihui's ah ma birthday party @ her house. She invites us over every year without fail and we always looks forward to it becos there are so nice food!!!

Waited at sihui hse till 1 am for lihui's papa to fetch mi home. We sat and see sihui's exchange photos @ UK. The scenery are so nice and the buildings too! Whoa.. makes mi so feel like travelling.. Haha but where to get so much $$. So i must work and work like a donkey before i earn moi trip! Hee. At 1 am moi eye is dying and becomes so red! Sianz.. luckily sihui jie jie gave mi here ctc lens case to put moi lenses if not... haha god knows wat will happen to moi eye.

Whoa.. i change moi blog song... it took mi so long to upload the file onto filelodge cos i always get disconnected! Argh... Finalli i succeeded after umpteen attempts. Seminar Day 1

Help out at grand capthorne hotel for an international biomaterials seminar. The seminar lasted for a wk but we need to go there luckily for 2 days onli. Hee cos seriously we are overemployed!!! The talks are usual those tt will make u sleep one. But i must admit tt this is one of the few seminars tt at least i can catch wat they are presenting. The biggesr credits of course cos to moi BG4230 Drug delivery and Tissue Engineering tutor - Wang Dong An. hee i must admit tt the knowledge he has impart on us has been most useful!!! Thanks!

Seminar Day 2

The 2nd day is more sianz den the first day. Part of the reason was that i need to arrive at the hotel as early as 8am which means tt i need to wake up at six plus! OMG... it has been a long long time since i wake up so early le.

The morning session has been most unpleasant. Sort of kana scolded!!! Yuks.. hate the snobbish people! Hee

Feeling so tired. Hee but going to watch "OPEN SEASON" with ivy and si hui jie jie @ PS! Whoa.. cant wait to see them!

I heaved a sigh of relief after i had handed in moi interim report to moi tutor. Whoa.... Well at least i can have a temporary rest from the FYP. FYP is so stressful especially when u know that u definitely need to perform well in order to get a honours.

It begins to drizzle and den raining cats and dogs after i gotten back from school. With nothing much to do, i begin to do silly things. Haha.. i packed moi nail art stuff.

Nail Nail Day

I gotten a shock when i realised the amount of nail art related stuff i had. Nail polish alone i have 22 bottles of them!!! I got all sorts of colour, with glitter ones, metallic ones, matt ones and even fluorescent. The fluorsecent one is bought by xiaobai. She says tt the colour looks damn cool but after i help her apply right, it looks hideous!Haha... like those nails in ghost stories. scary... but i just keep it cos can use it for decoration purpose. Hee. For nail polish, i have tried a lot of different brands but all cheap cheap ones. But i must say tt sylvie and the face shop ones are real value for money. It is rather big bottled and the nail polish is veri smooth. Even when u keep them for some time, it will not harden or dry up. Somtimes for other brands, once it dries up, it is hard to apply and the coating will not be smooth.

Nail Care

I have quite a number of different buffers. They are for different purposes but i seldom use them cos moi nails are rather "ting hua". They wont grow out of shape. At most, i just use to round the edges.

I seldom took care of moi nails. Hee i mean give them nutrients la. so everytime i wash off the polish, i can see them being yellow and deprived of fresh air. i tink moi nails hate mi a lot. Hee so i decide to do something about it. I begin to apply base coat before applying nail polish ever since i was given a bottle of OPI base coat as a gift from a nail artist. It protects moi nails and prevents it from decolouration. But after i depleted its usage, i have no money to buy a new one cos it cost $20 odd bucks for 1 normal bottle. For a qiong shu sheng like mi, i can onli afford the $2.50 base coat from the face shop. Despite the price, it did fulfil its purpose. After applying nail polish, i wil definitely add on at least 2 layers of top coat. This add shines to the nail which otherwise appears dull and less attractive.

Many people haven been asking mi how to paint the designs on moi nails. I own moi pretty nails to these KONAD NAIL STENCIL SET which i bought like 6 yrs ago. Hee but years after years i bought new stencil plates. The latest to the collection is the plate that makes marvellous tip design which are veri classy.

During festive seasons or when there are special functions to attend, i need to dress up moi nails too. Hee i feel tt nails are an important part of an attire. There is no point in dressing up but ur nails look so cui. This is moi opinion onli la. Hee. So i will put stickers and diamond studs on moi nails. But they come off easily after 1 shower or 2 days. So i wont recommend them for normal use unless i become a tai tai where i dun need to do household chores and even for washing moi hair, the salon will take care of it. Hee.. opps so early and i am dreaming le.
