I heaved a sigh of relief after i had handed in moi interim report to moi tutor. Whoa.... Well at least i can have a temporary rest from the FYP. FYP is so stressful especially when u know that u definitely need to perform well in order to get a honours.

It begins to drizzle and den raining cats and dogs after i gotten back from school. With nothing much to do, i begin to do silly things. Haha.. i packed moi nail art stuff.

Nail Nail Day

I gotten a shock when i realised the amount of nail art related stuff i had. Nail polish alone i have 22 bottles of them!!! I got all sorts of colour, with glitter ones, metallic ones, matt ones and even fluorescent. The fluorsecent one is bought by xiaobai. She says tt the colour looks damn cool but after i help her apply right, it looks hideous!Haha... like those nails in ghost stories. scary... but i just keep it cos can use it for decoration purpose. Hee. For nail polish, i have tried a lot of different brands but all cheap cheap ones. But i must say tt sylvie and the face shop ones are real value for money. It is rather big bottled and the nail polish is veri smooth. Even when u keep them for some time, it will not harden or dry up. Somtimes for other brands, once it dries up, it is hard to apply and the coating will not be smooth.

Nail Care

I have quite a number of different buffers. They are for different purposes but i seldom use them cos moi nails are rather "ting hua". They wont grow out of shape. At most, i just use to round the edges.

I seldom took care of moi nails. Hee i mean give them nutrients la. so everytime i wash off the polish, i can see them being yellow and deprived of fresh air. i tink moi nails hate mi a lot. Hee so i decide to do something about it. I begin to apply base coat before applying nail polish ever since i was given a bottle of OPI base coat as a gift from a nail artist. It protects moi nails and prevents it from decolouration. But after i depleted its usage, i have no money to buy a new one cos it cost $20 odd bucks for 1 normal bottle. For a qiong shu sheng like mi, i can onli afford the $2.50 base coat from the face shop. Despite the price, it did fulfil its purpose. After applying nail polish, i wil definitely add on at least 2 layers of top coat. This add shines to the nail which otherwise appears dull and less attractive.

Nail Art
Many people haven been asking mi how to paint the designs on moi nails. I own moi pretty nails to these KONAD NAIL STENCIL SET which i bought like 6 yrs ago. Hee but years after years i bought new stencil plates. The latest to the collection is the plate that makes marvellous tip design which are veri classy.

During festive seasons or when there are special functions to attend, i need to dress up moi nails too. Hee i feel tt nails are an important part of an attire. There is no point in dressing up but ur nails look so cui. This is moi opinion onli la. Hee. So i will put stickers and diamond studs on moi nails. But they come off easily after 1 shower or 2 days. So i wont recommend them for normal use unless i become a tai tai where i dun need to do household chores and even for washing moi hair, the salon will take care of it. Hee.. opps so early and i am dreaming le.
