It was in august when ivy jio mi to go for this event. Hee at tt time i thought just go and try out lo.. hee see how cui i can be. But hor, i got trained la... just jog twice a week. hee if not training i realli tink i wont make it back! Haha...

The day of the highly anticipated event is finalli here. Hee wake up as early as 4 am to eat breakast and get ready for the BIG day. When we reach there, it was mountain people mountain sea. The whole padang is bustling with activites - people taking fotos, warming up, volunteers setting up stuff and even some super enthu people tt had already began running here and there. For mi, i prefer to conserve energy. Hee

Walk to deposit our bags and met mel too. Do some warming up, stretch here and there. I am realli scared tt moi knee will give way. Haha.. Promptly at 630am, the race started!!! SO EXCITED!!!

~~~The half marathon journey~~~

1 - 2 km - coping well

3 - 5 km - can still talk a bit with ivy

7 km - lost ivy among the sea of people

8 - 10km - can feel the strain le

11km - 13km - Steps slow down and struggling to keep going

14km - Fateful km where i started walking. Was near the esplanade le.

15km - Right upper thigh cramped and left knee cramped! Cant even walk properly. Tink moi face looks super pale hee cos some kind gal even asked mi whether i am okie or not.

16km - 17 km - get some deep heat from medi and try continue walking and walking. Was so happy when i saw ivy at the other returing side. Hee tink her appearance gave mi some motivation to push moiself

18km - 19km - walk and limp. walk and limp. The 100 plus is yummy! haha

20km - restarted the momentum to jog again

20.7 km - heard the cheer that i am approaching the last 300m!!!

21km - i saw the board and it was before the 3hrs duration which i set for moiself ! hee. and so i happily pushed and sprint towards the finish line!!! Hee.. the feeling of satisfaction was beyond words.

Gotten moi medal but didnt see ivy. Though she was at the bag deposit area but hmm didnt see her also. Then i started to get stuck in a horrible queue to retrieve moi bags! The queue is freaking long and belive mi, i waited for at least 1 hr 30 mins. Luckily at the end, managed to find ivy! hee. ivy jie jie veri lihai finish in 2 hr 35 mins wor. hee..

Went to makan in marina square and den makan again at new york new york! Wahaha... i cant believe all the rubbish food tt i push in moi stomach. Haha.

Evening meet ivy, ghim and zhi bin at IMM for dinner. Since ages we meet and hee so nice to talk cock with them. Hee then when we were leaving, we even played with the infra red system used to detect the number of available lots hee. So childish of us. But who cares!!! wahah. Thanks Ghim for sending us home.

I immediately collapsed to moi bed when i reached home!!! PainPainPain.. sob sob~But it was definitely a memorable experience for mi!
