First Horse Riding

Cuili has been asking mi for horse riding few mths back. The busy mi always fly her kite. Finalli this wkend, i managed to find the time to go horse riding! The horse riding sch is in the malaysian tech uni which is a 20mins taxi ride away from the check point.

I am amazed at how a small stable can hold as many as 20 horses and ponies. Stable aside, the riding sch is big to accomodate huge training fields.





My instructor is the guy in black. He is an endurance rider who represented Malaysia to take part in a 160km race, meaning he would have to spend at least 9 hours on the horse! He is a very patient instructor. Slowly with clear instructions, he guides mi from climbing on the horse, walk and trot the horse and also getting down the horse. He stops at times to correct moi mistakes but never loses his temper. Thanks!



The horse i ride on is called Mummy Jane - a seasoned champion horse that has won tremendous awards but has now retired. Sitting on mummy, i felt realli tall. As she starts to walk, i was so thrilled! When i am comfortable with mummy, the instructor proceed to trotting. When the horse trots, i will be bumped up and down. Hence, i would need to stand up and down according to the rhythmn of the horse when she is trotting. Definitely, it is hard! I felt like i was going to fall over sometimes! But.... is realli fun! Instructor says i am doin well for a first timer... Hee...

A Great Sunday

In the morning, we set off for a sumptuous breakfast at Cafe Cartel. I highly recommend the breakfast there! It is valued for $$, considering it is priced almost the same as McDonald's breakfast. I cant resist the thick but soft and fragrant pancakes.... drool....

After makaning, is off to ECP for some cycling! If you ever tink cycling is onli restriccted to ECP, den you are totally wrong! With the park connectors in placed, we cycled...cycled... cycled.... to....Changi airport!

After cycling for around an hour, we finalli reached our half way point which was somewhere near the airport.





While taking a rest before we continue the journey back, we cam-whored!!!

The going back journey was more tedious. Seriously, i though i wouldnt make it back. Ivy says i had this intense concentration on moi face. Haha... Finalli, we made it back to ECP.

The cycling was so enjoyable as the scenery there was so beautiful tt for once, i thought i was in tioman. I luv the way the wind blow through moi hair. I luv the sun and i luv the nosense of ivy and kelvin. Happie!!! Except tt after 2 hrs of cycling, moi butt feels like its gonna spilt into 2.



After cycling, went for 5 hrs of KTVING!!!!

Zhiyun's Bday

This yr's bday celebration has been rather quiet and lonely - just the 2 of us. Ying Yi can only send her regards far far away from England. So looking forward to YY home coming on the 2nd Feb!

Dinner was @ Billybombers (Heeren). The place there was veri quiet and definitely a place where we can eat slowly and nua the evening away. We luv the milkshakes there. Every flavour is nice. This time, we ordered Cookies and Cream.





The cheese fries there is marvellous. Hot crispy fries dipped with creamy rich cheese sauce..... Heavenly.... And the mixed grill with so many variety - chicken sausage, chicken chop, steak, bacon, egg and potato salad... Yeah... is fattening!
